Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.

Dark. Light. God. Lucifer. Heaven. Hell. GOOD. BAD. Yes, the ever-lasting contrast. Since existance has known, the ‘fight’ between good & evil has continued. Obviously, this fight can never end. Good things turn bad, bad things become good, the ‘people’ on the earth see it as a battle they can win.  HA. Fuckin morons. If people looked at History, they would see what happens. I think, too much, I understand, I am GOD compared to some of these un-existable, brainless zombies. Yet, the actions of them interest me, like a kid w. a new toy. Another contrast, more of a paradox, actually, like the advanced go for the undevelopeds realm, while some of the morons become everything dwellers - but, exceptions to every rule, & this is a BIG exception - most morons never change - they never decide to live in the ‘everything’ frame of mind.

This picture is from an article called “The Rescuing Hug”. The article details the first week of life of a set of twins. Each were in their respective incubators and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two, threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby’s heart stabilized and temperature rose to normal.

life is so beautiful.

HOW can you not reblog HOW

This is so sweet.
This also has happened with babies that have been pronounced dead right after being born. Their mothers hold onto them and the warmth of their mothers brings them back to life.

I always wanted this on my blog.

It’s called Kangaroo Care, it gets used a lot in countries where they can’t afford incubators, they put weak or vulnerable babies in skin to skin contact with their mothers and it works in almost exactly the same way as an incubator.
Also with small children skin to skin contact can change the heartbeat, i don’t know how it works but when I was little and my dad would hold me if we sat there for maybe for 10/15 minutes our heartbeats would sync. I can’t do it with people now I’m older though.
Human contact is one of the most powerful things in the world, not only does it convey affection but it gives life.

isnt it odd how the human mind expands inwardly forever

i can build characters and worlds and universes and define new laws of nature

construct stories and timelines and fit it all together inside my own head

and yet i can’t draw a fUCKING LAMP
